Your lehenga colour is the single biggest factor in designing your bridal makeup look — here's how we approach the most common palettes.

Red and Maroon

Classic red and maroon lehengas carry strong warmth, so we usually balance them with a warm-toned base, soft bronze-brown eyes, and a lip that either matches the outfit in a deeper red or contrasts gently in a rosewood tone.

Gold and Ivory

Lighter, metallic outfits give more room for a defined smoky eye or a bold lip, since the outfit itself carries less colour saturation.

Pastel Lehengas

For pink, mint or lilac pastel bridal outfits, we lean toward a soft, romantic look — dewy skin, a flushed cheek, and eyes in muted mauve or taupe tones that don't fight the outfit's softness.

Non-Traditional Colours

Brides choosing emerald, navy or black lehengas often want a more editorial, contemporary makeup look — usually a defined eye with a neutral lip, letting the outfit's unusual colour lead.

Bring a Swatch or Photo

Fabric colour can shift dramatically under different lighting. Bringing an actual swatch or a well-lit photo to your trial helps us match tones accurately.
